Without the great support of Greek Animal Rescue most of our work would have been impossible.
GAR is a association registered in the UK dedicated to help stray dogs all over Greece.
GAR will gladly receive donations for the dogs of Samos. Just follow the instruction on their web page and add "For the dogs of Samos" as purpose of the donation.
At present we are supported in Germany by Samoshilfe. e.V..
Constituted after the big fires in 2000, their main aim has been the support of the volunteer fire brigades with know how and equipment.

Samos Hilfe also maintains or funds account in Germany.
The Worldwide Veterinary Service is a charity organization of vets and associated professions who help us with neutering campaigns.
Without their help we shurely had some 100 more stray dogs out on the streets now!
Of course they also support other projects worldwide with their know how.
We also receive great support from the animal shelter of Bielefeld, Germany. We could already send some dogs over there, most of which have already found a new home.
They have long experience with the rehoming of south european dogs due to a cooperation with an organization in Las Palmas, Spain.
We are happy to announce that they made us one of their partner organizations.
So, one great way of helping us is to get in contact with them for giving a dog a new home!

The Danish Friends of Animals have joined us in our effort to help the dogs and improve the shelter.
Through their help we are able to fix the road to the shelter as well as a sewage system.
Moreover, they keep sending volunteer workers and vets over!
